Seabank clean up with Paypal

As part of the An Taisce Clean Coasts Roadshow to celebrate Earth Day, Dromiskin Tidy Towns and Paypal collaborated to carry out a successful beach clean at Seabank between Dromiskin and Castlebellingham.

Clean Coasts Regional Director for the North East, Aidan Gray, gave a talk on the impact of

marine litter and the power of community action in tackling pollution. David Thornton, Paypal,

explained how Paypal employees used their Community Impact hours to take time out from their jobs to make a real difference in a local area. Over 50 volunteers took part and a full skip of rubbish was collected including plastic, ropes,

tyres, metal and all sorts of bric-c-brac.

refreshments afterwards.
